Our Seville to Morocco day trip will be setting off in private transport from Seville to Tarifa (province of Cadiz), where we will take a ferry that will leave us in the African continent in less than an hour, after crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. If we are lucky, we will have the opportunity to take a look at some cetaceans on the way.
We will get off our ferry at the city of Tangier’s port (Morocco). There will be a local guide waiting for us there and he will lead us along the streets of the Medina so that we can visit the most picturesque places in the city for several hours. Tangier offers a wealth of cultural and historical heritage.
We will enjoy a typical Moroccan lunch before carrying on with our visit to this city in a highly cosmopolitan environment fusing recognisable elements of both the African and the European cultures. You will be able to taste typical Moroccan dishes such as Couscous or Tajine.
We will also have the opportunity to take some pictures of camels, emblematic animal of Morocco. Also we will be able to stroll around the Zoco of Tangier, where you are sure to do some shopping.
Visitors will able to enjoy all the charms the city offers both in the Medina and off its magnificent bay. A fantastic experience in Tangier. Rashid, our local guide, was excellent and told us a lot about the history of Morocco. A tip: take some snacks because lunch wasn’t until at least 3pm.
Well organized and I was satisfied.
All well except that the local guide takes you to two places that are not interesting. One of fabrics and another of naturopathic medicine. What does that have to do with the tour? You waste 30 minutes on that nonsense.
Time in Tangier was effectively spent with knowledgeable tour guide and driver dedicated to us. We were led y knowledgeable staff from the time we were picked up in Seville until the time we were dropped off, during all transfers.
Rashid, our tour guide, was highly knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and wise. We enjoyed learning from him about his city, its culture, and place in the world in history and current day.
Fantastic time in Tangier. Rashid, our local guide was excellent and told us a lot about the history of Morocco. One word of advice, pack some snacks because lunch is not until 3 pm
