Seville to Ronda day trip. Enjoy a visit to Ronda and the Pueblos Blancos (White Villages), departuring from Seville in private transport and accompanied by a local guide. On our trip to Ronda, we will make several stops to watch other places of interest. During our journey along the Sierra de Cádiz, we will also visit the beautiful white villages of Grazalema and Zahara de la Sierra. We will have the opportunity to traverse the impressive forests, such as Pinsapar or the Garganta Verde, in the Sierra de Grazalema, regarded as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. We will be setting off from Seville to Ronda and our first stop will be made at the Castillo de las Aguzaderas (Medieval Castle) in order to know its history. Then we will continue our journey into the mountains in the Sierra de Cádiz until we reach the picturesque white village of Zahara de la Sierra. We will make a brief stop at a mill in order to find out details about how to produce olive oil.
We will then be moving on to the Sierra de Grazalema, which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve. There we will be able to see the forest of Pinsapos and the famous Garganta Verde, which is one of the rainiest areas in Spain. The trip will finish in the beautiful town of Ronda in order to find out about its history and monuments, visit its famous bridge and enjoy its beauty during a stroll.
Thanks to our guide who was really friendly and helped us enjoy this day trip. He answered all our questions and gave us nice information on the food, sites and culture of each town. We saw castles, vultures, toured an olive farms and of course, saw several small and beautiful towns including the amazing towns.
We were picked up a little later because of the delay of other visitors and we couldn’t stay in Grazalema and Zahara as long as we would have liked. Ronda is very beautiful.
Thanks, we had a great day. The guide was really nice and supportive.
Beautiful White Villages in particular, i really liked Zahara. Fantastic day!
I recommend a visit to Ronda if you are in Seville, although the other white villages are not as famous as Ronda and some of them seem to have a little more charm.
