Our day trip from Seville to Cordoba will start around 9:00 in the morning. Our guide will pick you up at the meeting point you have selected to drive to Cordoba, where we will arrive in less than two hours.
Accompanied by our guide, we will walk through the main streets of the historical centre of Cordoba. We will walk through the most important sites of Cordoba, such as the Roman Bridge, the Palacio de la Merced, the Plaza de la Corredera, the Roman Temple or the Plaza de las Tendillas.
We will enjoy a walking tour as well as visit the Jewish Quarter and take a look at some of the well-known Cordoba Patios, full of flowers and careful details, where we will be able to take some unique and beautiful pictures.
Later we will skip the line to visit the most important monument of the city, the Mosque of Cordoba, which became, after Mecca itself, the second most important temple of the Islamic world. Declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Mosque of Cordoba leaves no one indifferent.
Our guide will help you interpret the rich variety of ornamental details of the Mosque and its history. We will be surprised by the size of its naves, altars, doors and its endless rows of arches, which will give us the opportunity to take some excellent pictures.
During our visit in Cordoba we will also enjoy a break for lunch, a short walk on your own or do some shopping, if you wish.
We will make a brief stop to visit the beautiful and historic white village of Carmona, located between Seville and Cordoba, and which is of great importance in the history of Andalusia, and which has important archaeological sites.
We will arrive in Seville around 19:00 in the afternoon after having enjoyed a nice day of excursion and having learned and enjoyed the culture and history that this Andalusian spot offers us.
