Our tour will start in Seville. We will pick you up in private transport from your accommodation in Seville or from a nearby point that we will have previously arranged with you.
In less than half an hour we will arrive at Carmona. With help from our guide, we will walk through the historical center of Carmona, to discover the most emblematic monuments of the city, also known as the “Lucero de Europa”.
Ancient civilizations such as the Carthaginians, Romans, Muslims and Christians left their historical legacy in this Andalusian city, which are visible in every corner of the village. We will walk peacefully from the Puerta de Sevilla to the Puerta de Córdoba, viewing the most outstanding places in Carmona.
We will make a brief stop at the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, an amazing Muslim Palace which was restored by Pedro I of Castilla and nowadays is a majestic Parador Hotel.
We will finish our tour by visiting the Necropolis of Carmona, of Roman origin, which, with more than 2000 years of history, has the largest and best preserved Roman funerary complexes in Spain.
There, the famous Amphitheatre stands out as well. This place used to hold the Gladiatory Games and it has been the scene of important film productions such as the popular TV series Game of Thrones.
Finally, at the end of our tour of the city of Carmona, we will make our way back to Seville after enjoying a fantastic experience in one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia.
