Our journey will start in Seville. Early in the morning, our private vehicle will collect you from your accommodation or a nearby location. During our trip, you will be permanently accompanied by an expert guide, who will provide interesting details about the places we visit.
We will first travel north to the town of La Puebla del Río, which is considered to be the northern gate of the Doñana National Park. Our first stop will be made at the Dehesa de Abajo, which is the ideal place for both amateur and professional ornithologists, since every year over 200,000 birds of more than 300 different species make the National Park their temporary home. Therefore it is not surprising that the place has become the largest wetland in Europe.
Our journey will progress across the northern side of the Doñana Park until we reach our next destination, namely, the Rocio Village (Aldea de El Rocío). The village has become one of the most popular pilgrimage sites across Spain as every year millions of pilgrims gather at the local sanctuary where the famous Virgen del Rocío is permanently kept and displayed to the public on special occasions.
After visiting the Aldea de El Rocío, we will enjoy a lovely walk through a leafy gallery forest until we reach the Palacio del Acebrón, one of the most attractive features of this place being the wide variety of endemic plant species from Doñana that can be found there.

Then, we will make a break for lunch and, as usual, our customers will be able to make a choice: eating their own meal or tasting the local food in one of the traditional bars and restaurants in the area, for which our guide can provide helpful advice.
We will continue our tour to find out about one of Doñana’s best preserved ecosystems. Doñana is also famous for being the natural resort with the longest virgin beach in Spain. As we walk along the seashore, our guide will provide curious details about how mobile dunes are regularly formed as part of the resort’s natural beauty.
The final stage of our journey will be made in a private 4 x 4 vehicle across one of the most densely forested areas in Doñana. During our trip we are very likely to spot large animals which can only be seen in captivity under normal circumstances, and if we are lucky, we may come across the Iberian Lynx, which is one of the endangered species at serious risk of dying out in the planet.
After enjoying a stunning sunset, which is one of the nicest experiences the place can offer, and a plentiful dinner, we will arrive at our accommodation, close to the National Park, in order to rest and regain energy and strength for the following day.
On our second day, shortly after breakfast, we will visit the Acebuche Visitors Centre in order to explore in closer detail the southern area in the Doñana National Park and enjoy the experience to the full.
Part of the morning will be spent on a short trip to the Guadalquivir River Estuary, not far from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a prosperous and stylish small town in Cadiz. Our journey will allow us to take a closer look at the marshes and preserves in the area, which constitute the ideal spot for many different animal species.
Once we have familiarised ourselves with the area, we will make a final stop at the Aldea del Rocío for lunch. After lunch and a few minutes break, we will start our journey back to Seville with a sense of satisfaction from quite an unforgettable experience in the Doñana National Park.
