Seville to Cadiz day trip. Enjoy a visit to Cadiz and Jerez setting off from Seville in private transport and accompanied by a local guide.
Discover the history and charms of Cadiz with us, the oldest city in Europe. By just walking through its streets, its squares and its beaches we will be able to get a grasp of its history and the reasons why some ancient civilizations chose this paradise as a permanent settlement.
We will also visit the city of Jerez, where we will stop to take a stroll around one of its wine cellars where the famous wines from southern Andalusia are produced and where we will have the opportunity to learn about their production process and to taste some of them.
We will be setting off from Seville toward the Bay of Cadiz, a trip that will lead us to the Costa de la Luz. Our first destination will be the city of Jerez de la Frontera, where after a short walk we will visit a wine cellar in the historical city center.
Once there, we will get a taste of their famous wines and will also learn about their production process. Our journey will be continued across the Puerto de Santa María until we reach the city of Cadiz, also known as the Tacita de Plata.
This city hides a unique marine atmosphere. Our guide will take us through the historical city center next to the Cathedral so that we will discover the oldest city in Europe with more than 3000 years of history.
Then we will spend part of the afternoon on one of its beaches and the remaining hours walking along the narrow streets of the neighborhood of La Viña or El Pópulo.
Fabulous from start to finish. Loved the wine cellar, and the old town of Cadiz is lovely.
I took this day trip with my family to Jerez & Cadiz and it was really enjoyable! Our guide Luis was friendly and informative answering all our questions. We learnt a lot about the history of Andalucia. It was a really enjoyable day!
We did the tour and decided to stay in Cádiz for one night which turned out to be a good idea since we were lucky and the weather accompanied us to spend the day at the beach which is incredible.
Cadiz as a city is not very big, so it gave us plenty of time to see it in a day. The cathedral is beautiful and we found the old town very interesting. It was usually a nice excursion.
Very good experience and we greatly appreciate the option of picking up at our hotel. Punctuality was also good, the guide was professional and friendly. Thank you very much.
