Our journey will continue towards Cadiz, the capital city, also famous for its beaches and for being the place where one of the most liberal constitutions of all times was first written back in the early nineteenth century.

Our one-day trip to Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera will start in Seville. We will collect you from your accommodation or a nearby place by private transport and will begin our journey with our local guide at about 9:00 am.
As we head for the Cadiz Bay, a first stop will be made in Jerez de La Frontera, an emblematic city in southwest Andalusia, just fifty minutes from Seville. The city’s tortuous streets and alleys are the perfect setting to find out about the lifestyles and traditions of its inhabitants. Jerez de la Frontera has become famous for its horses (The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art is a good example), for being the birthplace of flamenco, and, above all, for its excellent sherry produce. Jerez de la Frontera is well worth a visit to understand some of the deepest aspects of the Andalusian culture.
The last part of our travelling experience will consist of a short visit to one of the local wine cellars where such famous wines are produced every year. An expert guide will comment on the most relevant stages of the whole production process. At the cellar, we will be offered a wide range of wines to taste.
At about 12:00 in the morning, we will drive back to Cadiz, less than 40 km south, so that we can spend the rest of the day moving around the city, one of the oldest ones in Europe. Our local guide will be with us almost permanently.
Our trip also includes visits to the city’s most important monuments, such as the Cathedral of Cadiz, the Tavira Tower or the Castle of ‘Santa Catalina’. The popular neighbourhoods of ‘La Viña’ or ‘El Pópulo’ will be part of our round, which will be brought to a close with a visit to the ‘Gran Teatro Falla’, the local venue where a popular contest known as ‘chirigotas’ is held every February as part of the carnival celebration.
There will be a break for lunch on our tour. Whenever necessary, our local guide will give you useful advice on where to taste Cadiz local gastronomy, preferably inside one of its most traditional bars or restaurants. The final minutes of our travelling experience will be spent on the beach (‘La Caleta’ being perhaps the most popular resort) before starting our trip back to Seville.
We will be picked up in Cádiz at around 17:30 in the afternoon and we expect to arrive in Seville later that evening, at about 19:00. A fully enjoyable and refreshing journey across one of Spain’s most remarkable cities.

Fabulous from start to finish. Loved the wine cellar, and the old town of Cadiz is lovely.
I took this day trip with my family to Jerez & Cadiz and it was really enjoyable! Our guide Luis was friendly and informative answering all our questions. We learnt a lot about the history of Andalucia. It was a really enjoyable day!
We did the tour and decided to stay in Cádiz for one night which turned out to be a good idea since we were lucky and the weather accompanied us to spend the day at the beach which is incredible.
Cadiz as a city is not very big, so it gave us plenty of time to see it in a day. The cathedral is beautiful and we found the old town very interesting. It was usually a nice excursion.
Very good experience and we greatly appreciate the option of picking up at our hotel. Punctuality was also good, the guide was professional and friendly. Thank you very much.
