At 11:00 am, our official guide will be waiting for us in order to start our walking tour. As we move on, our guide will give us a detailed account of some of the most important historical events from the time the monuments were built. Some of the stories and legends concerning the monuments involve historial characters from as far back as the thirteenth century.
The first part of our tour will centre on the ‘Real Alcazar’ (Royal Alcazar), originally a defensive fortress set up by the Muslim rulers of Al-Andalus, as the southern area of the Iberian Peninsula was known at the time. Our visit will give us the chance to walk around chambers, rooms and pavilions of unique architectural value and exceptional beauty.
We will also have the opportunity to stroll peacefully across the gardens surrounding the palace, which display a rich variety of botanical species. The Alcazar is regarded as the oldest palace in Europe still occasionally in use.
A stone’s throw from the Real Alcazar, the Cathedral of Seville is one of the finest examples of Gothic Architecture in Europe, as well as the world’s largest Gothic cathedral. The Tomb of Christopher Columbus ‘Cristobal Colón’ and the altarspiece inside the cathedral are some of its hidden treasures. The cathedral also contains the ‘Biblioteca Columbina’, namely, what remains of an originally impressive library with over fourteen thousand volumes.
One of the most special moments of our walking tour will be our climb to the Giralda, unanimously regarded as the symbol of the city and the culminating expression of its artistic and cultural past. At a height of over one hundred metres, the top of the monument offers splendid views of the whole urban area.
In short, a fully enjoyable and fascinating experience of over three hours which will have an everlasting effect on your memory.

Our guide was very good and passionate and proud to live in Seville. I have seen many Cathedrals the world over but never anything as spectacular as Seville Cathedral
Excellent visit! Damiana was a charm and what to say about Seville… It was a pleasure!
We arrived at the agreed point about 10 minutes earlier on a fairly rainy day. There we met the group that would be approximately a group of 15 people and our guide who gave us a gadget with headphones so that we could listen at all times what she said with her microphone. Impressive the Cathedral and especially the Alcazar that was how to move to another era. In my opinion one of the most beautiful places in Seville. a greeting!
The two monuments seemed like a jewel and it is also very well maintained. In our opinion a highly recommended visit
