Enjoy a Guided Kayak Tour along the Guadalquivir River to get to know all the history and secrets of the city of Seville in a casual, refreshing way. For approximately two hours and thirty minutes, we will be travelling across a long stretch of the Guadalquivir River, which will give us the chance to get to know both the river and an emblematic city with a lot of history.
Before we start our journey, our customers will be provided with some basic guidelines on how to handle kayaks properly. This training session will take place in our facilities.
The Guadalquivir River on its way through Seville is a river with a lot of life and, over the years the citizens from Seville have taken advantage of it in order to play several different sports and carry out recreational activities. The river has always been a solace on summer days with extreme heat.
We will take a refreshing tour of approximately two hours and thirty minutes on double kayaks and accompanied by a local guide. During the tour, we will find out interesting details about the history, the culture and the hidden secrets of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We will learn about the Roman period, the curious way in which the river separates Seville from Triana.
We will also learn about the discovery of America, the era of the Colonisation and the first time in history when the Guadalquivir played an essential role. During our trip across the Isla de la Cartuja, we will also get to know about the Universal Exhibitions of 1929 and 1992, both of which helped to shape the city of Seville as it is known today.
